There was a crooked man and he walked a
crooked mile,
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked
stile.
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a
crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked
house....NOT!!
Until yesterday, we have felt as though we were living the "real life" version of this poem! Our house was incredibly "crooked" with slanted and uneven floors throughout.  Our wall pictures hung on the walls in a crooked manner and when I fried eggs, they too slid to one side of the pan.  When the boys slept in their bunkbeds, their heads were below their feet...that is until we had risers placed underneath the one side to make it even.  The parking lot was so far from our front door that it felt as though we had to walk a "crooked mile" from our car to our front porch.  To top it all off, we even had a mouse in our house!  The only thing we were missing was our own crooked cat!

I couldn't stand living in our crooked house any longer, so we broke our lease and have moved out!! Ironically, this whole mess has been a blessing.  We are now renting a single family home from some nice landlords.  It is a three bedroom, one bathroom house with a HUGE basement for the kiddos to run around and play in, AND it is $300 buck-a-roos cheaper than what we were paying in rent at our former place!! Sounds like a great deal to me!

I will email you all our new address and phone number too:)

A blessing in disguise for sure. I think you'll love being in a house and having that feeling of being more on your own. Another plus side is that you won't have to worry about when the kids are extra crazy and that neighbor guy.

I can't wait to see you all!
