Grandma and Grandpa Parke and Aunt Kelsey came for a two week visit mid-November! Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Gavin, and Cousin Quinn were able to come up from D.C. for a few days too. The boys were sooo excited to see Grandma and Grandpa Parke again, and Eden...well...it was as if she was seeing them for the first time ever! haha She was only 5 weeks old when we moved from LA to Boston. She was a wee bit bashful at first, but then became buddies with everyone.
We squeezed in a lot of sight-seeing while they were here. We took them to our favorite place here in Boston--Walden Pond!
Grandma and Grandpa Parke treated us to a day trip to Plymouth Plantation. We learned interesting tidbits about the lifestyle of the Pilgrims and Native Americans and were able to walk through a replica of a pilgrim village.
Grandma Parke and Aunt Kelsey made an AMAZING Thanksgiving feast. Tennyson and his cousin, Quinn, helped with the rolls!

Asher and Quinn ate their Thanksgiving feast sitting at their little picnic table next to us. This reminds me of Thanksgiving at my grandparents house when I was little. The cousins always ate at a separate table in the living room...we always felt so grown-up sitting away from our parents! Little Edie-girl sat beside me in her little rocking chair.

Aunt Cheryl always has fun little games/crafts for the little ones to do each time we get together for a holiday celebration. This year was no different! The kids made the neatest Indian headdresses (not sure I spelled that right, but I am too lazy to check it on spell-check!)
