Last Tuesday, March 30, Conan sprained his ankle while playing basketball at his school. He signed up to play on Temple's podiatry basketball team and was all set to go to New York this upcoming weekend to play in the all-expense paid tournament there. However, this came to an abrupt halt when he sprained his ankle during practice. Poor guy, from the second he walked in the door, I knew he wasn't going to be able to play in the tournament anymore. The next day he gave himself an x-ray just to make sure it wasn't broken and a doctor in the clinic gave him a shot in the ankle to reduce the swelling (if you ask me, it hasn't done a darn thing!). The picture just doesn't do it justice. I am pleased to say though that he is getting around much better on it.
