On the Tuesday preceeding Thanksgiving, Tennyson's Preppy class held a Thanksgiving program for all of the students' mammas, pappas, and other family members to see. It was sooo cute! I couldn't take my eyes off of my cute Tennyson who kept smiling at me as he sang the various songs he has learned since the beginning of the school year. Of course he did a little showing off too!
Someone was a bit nervous when it was his turn to hold the "I" puppet up in front of all the parents, but he did a great job.
A few days before the program, the children made Indian vests out of paper grocery bags (I think we have all made these at one time or another during our elementary school days). They decorated them and then the teacher helped each child cut holes on each side of the bag for arms to dangle through. Well, somehow the teacher overlooked cutting out armholes on Tennyson's bag. This, of course, was not discovered until the point in the program when it was time for the children to put on their vests. So, while other children ran up to put on their vests and then resumed their previous place "on stage", embarrassed and nervous Tennyson hung out by me, in the middle of the classroom, in front of ALL the other parents, waiting for the teacher to cut armholes in his vest. Tennyson handled this funny and awkward moment just great. He was a good sport about it--better than I would have been! LOL (By the way, check out Tennyson's smug/showing off look!)

He's the cutest little Indian kid ever. Ashy looks so grown up next to him too.
