First Loose Tooth

Back in December, Tennyson finally lost his very first tooth! I say finally because we first noticed it was loose mid-November...before our family came to visit for Thanksgiving.  A few weeks later, when the tooth was practically dangling by that weird 'thread-like" stuff, Conan busted out the string, tied it around Tennyson's tooth (surprsingly he wanted Conan to do this!), and was just about to yank it out, when Tennyson asked if he could try it first.  Conan let Tennyson have a try at it, but before he could pull it out himself, it came out on its own.  The slightest movement made it just pop right out.  I loved the surprised look on Tennyson's face when he saw his tooth tied around the string which was now on the floor.  It was too cute.

All evening he kept sticking his tongue through the open gap along his gumline.  I remember doing the same thing as a child too!  Before bedtime, Tennyson remembered to place his tooth under his pillow.

He must do a pretty good job brushing his teeth because the tooth fairy left him a whopping $2.00!
