After our family vacation out West, we spent some time lounging around the house and checked a couple more activities off our summer bucket-list such as having a lemonade stand and making one more summer visit to our favorite place in Boston--Walden Pond...all before school started once more!

Tennyson learned how to do this! Of course, Asher has learned how to do it as well!
Our good friends, the McKays, had us over for a lemonade stand one afternoon. This was one fancy lemonade stand. We sold homemade snicker-doodles, cupcakes and lemonade. We even had pureed (not sure I spelled that right) strawberries and chopped fresh mint to add to the lemonade. Yum! We were perfectly located on the corner of a fairly busy neighborhood intersection. Tennyson took the lemonade stand quite seriously, while his siblings and friends got bored and ran off to play in the backyard. Tennyson's diligence in selling tasty treats paid off considering the kiddos brought in a total of $40.00+ dollars. Not too shabby!

Looks like a good summer to me. That is a fancy Lemonade stand- you can tell Tenn that he earned more $ than I did this year.
