ChRiStMaS 2013

As you can tell, I am slowly but surely trying to catch up on my blog!  We celebrated our last Christmas here in Boston and boy was it a fun one!
Eden with her sugar cookies.
We made sugar cookies...a family tradition.  As usual, I am pretty sure more candy made it's way into their tummies than onto the actual cookie!

The kiddos get to open two gifts on Christmas Eve.  One is always a new set of jammies (which Tenn was not so enthusiastic about this year...someone is growing up) and the other gift was the movie A Christmas Story (a family favorite!)

Asher left this note for Santa next to some milk and cookies.

Santa brought Tennyson the coveted 'Rainbow Loom'.
As usual the boys woke up incredibly early and rushed out to the living room to see what Santa brought! Last year they woke up about 4:30 in the morning...this year it was closer to 5:30.  Ugh.

Remember playing Simon as a child??  Santa brought one for Tenn!

Thankfully Eden was 'kinder' to her parents and woke up around 6:30ish.  Santa brought her a new baby doll stroller which she had wanted for quite some time.

Cool gift from Tenn's Grandpa Stillians

Grandpa Stillians gave Asher the much coveted Cake/Ice Cream Play-Doh maker!

Dora!!!  A favorite of Eden's!

Asher was DYING to have a pair of 'moon shoes'.  Santa scored an AWESOME Black-Friday deal on them, so Asher was one happy boy Christmas morning when he opened them up.

Tenn with his new real digital camera. (When I was about Tenn's age, I got my first camera too...it was a Cabbage Patch camera! Remember that Dad?)

Grandma/Grandpa Parke gave Edie-Bug another favorite--Minnie Mouse!

Cool Minnie Mouse backpack for Edie from Grandma Walker!

Conan's mom made a book of all her childhood memories of growing up on a ranch in Wyoming and then gave a copy to each of her childrens' families.  We love it!!!

Asher trying out his moon shoes.

Funny story...when Grandma and Grandpa Parke came back in November for Tenn's baptism and to spend Thanksgiving with us, Asher had a blast jumping on poor Grandpa each time he tried to take a nap on our couch.  So...for Christmas, Grandpa Parke sent this punching toy to Asher to hit instead of climbing and tackling poor Grandpa.  The bad news...it broke just a few days later.  Sorry Grandpa Parke...you had better bring a helmet, shin guards, arm pads, and maybe even a 'cup' the next time you visit:)

I know it is only 6 months late, but we hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!! hahaha
